Do you eat loach?
In Tokyo, it’s not common to eat loach but here in Inashiki a lot of people eat it.
Now loach is in season. I had some fried at a local restaurant.

It was yummy and wasn’t fishy at all. I felt it’s similar to smelt fish.
If you come here to Inashiki-city, Ibaraki, Japan, you will have the chance to eat loach.
The best season is between June and July roughly.
